Dr. Abraham W. Aron is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine and an attending nephrologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
He completed his nephrology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine/Yale New Haven Hospital and has previously been on faculty at Yale University School of Medicine and Stanford University School of Medicine. He joined the faculty at Georgetown in August of 2023 after being recruited to start a glomerular disease program.
Dr. Aron’s clinical interests are in glomerular disease including IgA nephropathy and genetic kidney disease. He is also the Associate Program Director for the Georgetown Nephrology Fellowship where he spends his time lecturing future nephrologists in all aspects of nephrology including keeping them abreast of new developments in IgA nephropathy care.
