Following her diagnosis with IgA Nephropathy in 2023, Katie committed herself to advancing the mission of the IgA Nephropathy Foundation, initially volunteering as a Patient Ambassador for the State of Ohio.
As Manager of Education and Programs, she collaborates with clinicians, industry leaders, and policymakers to drive awareness and improve patient care. Katie is deeply committed to the IgAN community and uses her experiences to foster meaningful connections and empower patients. She lives in Ohio with her husband, Ryan, and enjoys traveling, reading, and college football in her free time.
