Volunteering to help the IGA Nephropathy Foundation of America can be a very rewarding experience. Not rewarding in a financial sense, but with something far more valuable – smiles, friendship, and that warm feeling that you get knowing that you made a difference in someone’s life. Your talents can be used in many ways; if public speaking is your cup of tea, you might want to become a speaker with our Speakers Bureau and help spread the word. Prefer office work? We are always in need of volunteers to help with updating our records, imputing information in our database, donor research and helping with our mailings. Or if fundraising and events are your forte, we could use your help staging our many special events. Contact us for more information.

We also have a very active Teen Committee comprised of local high school students who want to make a difference. They provide valuable assistance at our events and perform many other duties important to the running of the Foundation. Aside from the great feeling that comes with knowing they’re helping others, volunteering gives them an inside look at how non-profits work, allows them the opportunity to gain service hours and is a valuable asset to their college resumes.
