Margaret and her husband Michael met Bonnie and became engaged with IGAN after their son was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy. Their son eventually received a kidney transplant and recently battled Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder. Margaret practiced as a family doctor for decades in Pennsylvania and now resides in Florida. She has represented IGAN on Capitol Hill and seeks greater research for kidney disease. Having a child with IgA Nephropathy and renal transplant, Margaret wishes all parents to know they are not alone and can count on IGAN as a helpful resource.
