IgA Nephropathy Awareness Day
On May 14th 20 years ago, Bonnie Schneider founded the IgA Nephropathy Foundation after her son’s diagnosis to create a support hub for people living with IgA Nephropathy.
The IgA Nephropathy Foundation hopes this day will bring our community together to celebrate one another and raise more awareness for early diagnosis and treatment.

This year, May 14, 2023 falls on Mother’s Day, and as it was a mother’s love that sparked the Foundation’s creation, we’re celebrating family—the family you’re born with and the family you find—all week long, from Sunday, May 14 to Saturday, May 20, 2023. We invite you to join us for a week of meaningful moments OR pick your day(s) to get involved to celebrate the 2nd Annual IgAN Aware Day.
