Cucumber Lemon Water
May 31, 2024Make ahead and enjoy for a few days. This cucumber lemon water is refreshingly loaded with Vitamins K and C, and antioxidants. Cucumber lemon water is kidney-freindly for IgAN Patients and is a great way to stay hydrated on a hot day.
Equipment
- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 Knife
- 1 Pitcher
Ingredients
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Cucumber
- 4 Mint sprigs
- 6 Cups Water
- Ice
Instructions
- Rinse off the lemon, cucumber and mint.
- Juice half of the lemon, and cut the other half into ¼" wide rounds.
- Cut the cucumber into ¼" wide rounds.
- Put lemon juice, cucumber and lemon rounds, and mint sprigs into a glass pitcher. Add water, and mix.
- Place pitcher into the refrigerator for at least 2 hours for flavors to infuse.
- To serve, pour over ice in a glass.
Notes
Another great way to make this recipe and save for later is to squeeze lemon juice, chop cucumbers and mint into small pieces and freeze in ice cube trays. Later, you can add an ice cube or two of the mixture to a glass of water.
